If you are a non Swimtime member that is not a problem as we can add you into the section near the end of the shoot.

Wakefield 4N 4Sight this Friday

I’ve been asked to do my 4sight on mobileography again but this time at Wakefield on Friday morning.
I’ll be posting location onto here later on when I can get onto the forum to remember where it is (it’s been one of those weeks and it’s only Wednesday).

If your coming remember to bring your charger with you as you’ll be using and abusing your mobile for my 4sight (no mobiles will be hurt in the lesson by the way).

See you all Friday.

Judgement Time?

An amazing article that I completly agree with. I always dress smart for weddings and events. Waist coat, good trousers and a nice crisp sharp shirt for weddings. I used to wear a tie but now go for the slightly more casual open  neck look.

As for black tie events I always wear the black tie (I also wear the tux that goes with the tie -I’m no Chipendale). You’d be amazed how many photographers turn up to events and look far too casual.  To me it helps me blend in with the masses which allows me to get in with the crowd and capture amazing shots.

Judgement Time?.

How does experiencing something change your perspective as a photographer?

I got asked this very question about a fortnight ago at my 4sight presentation in Castleford.

Well the answer to me us that depending on what the experience is it allows you to understand deeper meanings and emotions.

My experience that changed my perspective was falling in love and getting married to the women of my dreams.

Before I met Rebecca I enjoyed shooting weddings and maybe a dozen or so weddings maybe put a lump in my throat. But nearly all make me feel emotional when the couple get to the vows. I remember back to me and Rebecca saying our vows in front of all our family and friends. It has made me shoot differently, capturing lots more little details I may have sometimes not seen through significance in.

So how will your experiences effect you as a photographer? Please share below if you can? Thank you all.
