So today I did my second 4sight (second of the week). My first was at Castleford 4N at Birchwood Farm Hotel on Tuesdsy talking about my underwater photography and my journey to taking photographs underwater.
Today’s 4sight was about mobile photography, how to improve your images taken from a small phone and what you can do to alter the images and take them from normal to stunning.
I think from the endless questions and points I had to stop at “my phone doesn’t do that, but it does do this … ooooo”.
I’m looking forward to hopefully doing these two 4sights again at other clubs in the Yorkshire area.
I’d love feedback from members who were there at both 4sights to let me know what you thought.
Until the next meeting keep smiling, keep diving and keep snapping 🙂
Ps here are two examples of the same image taken today. The top image is the original panoramic image and the one below is the same image once it has been through the Snapseed app and has had a HDR (High Dynamic Range) filter added to it. It allows the image to have a much deeper tonal range making the image look punchier in the shadow areas. I’ll be adding a post on here in the next few days, including screen shots which will give you advice on how to take better photographs.
